Carrie’s fourteen year HR career has included a focus on, and developed expertise in, talent acquisition, talent management, employee engagement and outplacement services. Carrie has developed recruiting, on-boarding, talent management, retention, and job transition programs, as well as, managed day to day HR operations.
During her tenure as the HR Director with ISR, Inc, Carrie built the company’s new HR department and served on the Executive Leadership Team. As an HR Generalist for W.W. Grainger, Inc. Carrie worked with senior level executives to develop the organization’s new On-Site Services division. While at W.W. Grainger, Carrie was also responsible for managing the recruiting process for all hiring within On-Site Services, Grainger Integrated Supply Organization and the National Service Center. Carrie has provided consulting services to a wide array of clients ranging from Fortune 500s to small, privately owned companies and has worked within the following industries: human capital, non-profit, finance & accounting, manufacturing, advertising, technology, and industrial supplies.
Carrie is certified through the Human Resource Certification Institute as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). She is DDI certified in Targeted Selection interview methods. She earned a BA in English from Virginia Commonwealth University where she graduated Magna cum Laude.
