I am very passionate about combining product and process innovation to create new business models for highly successful companies.

Connectors Marketplace, Inc. evolved many iterations to provide a recommender marketplace with a suite of tools to help business users manage recommendations for social elements. I funded and designed this innovative recommender system, set up the customer development process and subsequently managed an outsourced product development team. 

Orca Media Group is a cluster of currently five intellectual property (IP) commercialization projects. I worked with outstanding researchers and scientists in many fields including artificial intelligence, financial mathematics, entertainment/film - providing the necessary product/market definition that helps unique ideas and concepts become a commercial reality. 

IP commercialization involved managing a distributed team of researchers, developers and commercial partners across three continents and thanks to the efforts of these amazingly talented people some of these projects are commercialized and others are coming to market as lean start-ups.

Coming from a traditional services industries background, the transition to internet technologies and online services gives me a unique insight into how product, process and business model innovation can best capture the ingredients that will ultimately create great companies.
