Job Description:

Procom is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our client’s large and successful software development team.  Our client is looking for a strong developer who likes to push the envelope and challenge the limits of what the software tools and technology can achieve.  In this new position, you will join our client’s development group which is critical to the successful on-time delivery of current projects and customer deliverables.

Skills and Responsibilities:

• Design, implement and integrate advanced solutions with JAVA
• Analyze problem and capture requirements
• Design solutions
• Communicate the design to others team members
• Plan, develop, test and document complex computer programs

Education/Certification:

• Computer Science degree, or equivalent degree/work experience

Experience Required:

• Java experience (6+ years)
• JDBC (5+ years)
• Object oriented programming
• RDBMS experience (5+ years) (Sybase preferred)
• SQL 5+ years
• SWING (4 years) graphical experience

Experience Preferred:

• C++ experience (1-3 years)
• J2EE
• Java Beans
• Eclipse
• Ant
• Experience with Healthcare software
• Experience with HL7 V3
• BEA Weblogic, Websphere
• Exposure to Aspect oriented programming
• Software design experience
