Insurance CSR - Brooklyn NY

Full Service Commercial Brokerage based in Brooklyn, is seeking a knowledgeable CSR to provide a full range of services required by medium to large size commercial lines clients. P&C license required, along with strong technical and interpersonal skills, and experience with a broad range of P&C coverages, markets and clients operating in a variety of different industries.

Job Summary:

• Responsible for all aspects of servicing book of business
• Service new business as it comes in and to create new business opportunities through cross selling existing clients and attending industry related functions

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

The duties of the CSR include, but are not limited to:

• Client Servicing: responsible for assigned book of business -  renewals, endorsements, invoicing, Schedules and Certificates
• Execute coverage analysis: enlist assistance of Commercial Lines Department where applicable; notify client of coverage gaps; provide client with quotation for additional coverages
• Cross-Sell other lines of coverage: introduce applicable department to assist with this process as necessary
• Maintain Account Receivables
• Liaise with Claims Department providing assistance with difficult claims with respect to industry
• Remarket existing accounts as client requests or market environment warrants
• Provide support / assistance to Team Leader on new and existing business as directed
• Act as backup to all accounts of Account Executive and Team Leader as necessary

Requirements and Qualifications:           

• Minimum of 3+ years of commercial lines brokerage /retail experience
• Commercial Lines experience a must ? All Lines of Business
• Valid P&C Brokers? license
• AMS 360 agency management system knowledge
