Application Support Analyst (SQL SERVER) (closed)

Application Support Analyst (SQL SERVER) required for an expanding ERP solution provider based in North Co Dublin.

This growing company will offer genuine career progression. You will have experience within an Application Support role and good knowledge of MS SQL.

This is a great opportunity to be involved with a number of exciting and up and coming projects.

Some responsibilities will involve

• Diagnosing application problems and identifying potential solutions
• Ensure timely resolution of all assigned issues and provide regular updates
• Accurately record details of communications on support ticketing system
• Assist in building product knowledge base to expedite issue resolution
• Assist with new development work in bespoke system
• Assist in the QA / Testing phase with the software development team.

 Requirements

• 1 - 2 years experience of supporting and some
• Microsoft SQL SERVER
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Able to work between the hours of 7 am to 7pm. (7-3.30pm, 10.30-7pm)

 Educational Standards

• Degree in Computer Science (Computer applications)

Nice to have

• Experience supporting an ERP system.  
• Knowledge of VB6
• Knowledge of vb.Net technology
