We are looking for a seasoned quality manager to build out and manage our test organization, while serving as a strong individual contributor in advance of scaling a team. This is an opportunity to set the quality culture as the company scales, to build the test and quality assurance organization from the ground up, and to work in a company on the leading edge of key industry trends from cloud computing and native mobile clients to cloud-based integrations with major players such as Google and Salesforce.com. There is a significant hands-on component to the role, especially in the first year of the job, ideal for someone that has the passion to write code to break code, develop and implement test strategies, and to grow with the organization. Responsibilities will include leading QA and software test engineering. The ideal candidate will have experience developing software in C# or Java and creating test strategies for entire products or systems. The person in this role will work on innovating the company's test strategy and QA, and reports directly into the VP of Engineering.

Key Responsibilities


· Define and refine scalable test strategies along with the tools, metrics and systems to implement
· Design, implement and test high quality software (hands-on programming required)
· Triage, debug and diagnose complex product issues
· Help maintain production applications
· Manage other engineers (including QA engineers)
· Work with high-profile customers on escalated incidents


Key Requirements


· Bachelor's Degree in CS or related discipline
· Previous demonstrated professional experience programming and in test engineering
· Demonstrated ability to tackle complex projects and lead both local and offshore employees
· Be a team player and have a can do attitude and great communication skills
· Experience in testing library and web APIs, distributed apps/frameworks, or desktop or mobile applications



Preferred but not Required


· MS or higher degree in CS or related disciplines
· Knowledge of any number of the following technologies: Linux, Apache, PHP, Python, C#, WCF, Java, C, Windows Server + IIS, XMPP, CouchDB, AWS, SQL Server, EC2, iOS, Android
· Past experience using .NET and Microsoft technology
· Domain experience in file management, file collaboration, sync, backup, cloud computing or SaaS environments
