A growing commercial pharmaceutical packaging company is hiring a Quality Engineering Manager  / Validation Engineering Manager full time in Woodstock, IL.

This commercial pharmaceutical packaging company provides: prefilled syringe/vials, bottling, and blister packs/customized blister walleting; and solutions include DelPouch unit dose delivery systems, design solutions, late stage customization, adherence solutions, commercial packaging, and DelPouch delivery systems to its clients in the pharma and biotech industries.

The Quality Engineering Manager is responsible for developing and managing the Validation team resources [Internal and external] relating to process, equipment, cleaning, utilities/facilities and computer systems programs.  Quality Engineering Manager is responsible for managing the Incoming Quality Assurance Staff and is responsible for the overall Woodstock Supplier Management Program. 
This position is the lead interface with the Customers technical teams as well as our business development group to align and deliver compliant and efficient outcomes around securing new business and on boarding of new services. The role also leads the Quality Staff who are responsible for technical assessments of processes and equipment performance focused around quality and reliability.
The Quality Engineering Manager also provides necessary project management, technical report and key performance indicator support to the Quality team.  Leadership of the site Risk Management approach [e.g. FMEA and other processes] and assessments of change controls ensuring consistency is part of the role.
This position will serve as the Director of Quality backup position and will lead all site Quality Activities as required.
