Job Description
We have a contract assignment with a client in Troy, Michigan seeking a Solidworks CAD Designer. Must have at least three years in Solidworks with mold / plastic components.
Contract assignment with a chance to go direct. An Associate's degree is preferred.
Experience and Skills:
The client is seeking candidates with Solidworks experience with plastic or injection molded components. Design experience with mold rigging systems involved with runners, risers and gates is highly desirable. In addition, sand casting molds is preferred.
Experience with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) or Rapid Prototyping is strongly preferred.
Any CAD experience with injection molding or investment casting would be considered.
Must demonstrate CAD ability to create designs, update files, and ensure CAD documents are properly competed in the system.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) are required to interface with internal management and customers.
