Overview: The project’s objective is to create an Application Development Platform to use globally across all entities.  This is the reason that SOA knowledge is highly desirable for the 3 architect roles.  Essentially we are hiring 3 architects each to cover their particular area of expertise: Front-end (UI), Middle (Application Architecture and Business Logistics), and Back-end (Data Architect).

• ·         Front-end:
  • o   Primarily .Net 4.0 and 4.5
  • o   Nice to have experience with Desktop/Mobile/websites frontend design.  Doesn’t need all of them but would like to have had significant exposure.
  • o   HTML 5, WPF (Winforms is an acceptable substitute) and Silverlight (Doesn’t need all of them, just heavy experience in any one of them)
  • o   This person will be asked to provide High-level design and maybe asked to become Dev Lead for entire project length
• ·         Middle:
  • o   Business Logic is key in this area of focus
  • o   Primarily generic Application Frame Work
  • o   Needs to have experience with development based on Oracle and SQL databases.  This person doesn’t need to know DB’s just able to develop knowing that these are the back ends
  • o   Would like for this person to be able to assist in the debate if they should use Prism or another Open Source toolset and what are the benefits of each based on their experience
  • o   Knowledge of MVVM, Prism and MEF is desired
  • o   Experience with Service Call to the Backend via technologies like WCF
  • o   C# is the preferred coding skill but not necessary
• ·         Back-end:
  • o   Experience with Oracle and SQL is a must
  • o   Would like for the person to have familiarity with OData.  This looks to be the route that they are headed
  • o   Experience with one of the 3 Data technologies is a must: Entity framework, NHibernate or DevForce
  • o   Back-end is .Net and some Java
