Our client, a growing publicly traded company in Portland, Oregon, with over a billion dollars in revenues, has an immediate need for an Accounting Analyst.. Must have a 4 year degree in accounting from a major university and 2-7 years of accounting experience.

  You will be responsible for overseeing the financial functions of several of our operating locations. This position works in tandem with District Operational Managers and requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills. It also requires direct interface with local and state regulatory agencies and personnel.

More specifically:

*performing monthly financial close function for each operating location

*reconciliation of general ledger accounts

*preparation of annual budget data and performing monthly budgetary performance analyses

*developing and analyzing current financial projection data

*performing managerial financial analyses

*rate analysis and review

*managing the flow of data from remote facilities

*evaluating and assessing operating results and activities including analysis of the budget to actual results and presenting cost reduction recommendations to management

*managing the overall accounting functions, G/L, A/R, A/P, billing, and payroll

*special projects as assigned



EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

*BS/BA degree in Accounting

*2-7 years relevant experience

*budgeting process experience a plus
*proven excellent communication and interpersonal skills
