POSITION DUTIES:

Drive and facilitate the definition, optimization, and enforcement of software development processes with a focus on CENELEC safety standard.

Continue improvement to establish solid TDS engineering processes based on CMMI and ISO 9001 in order to meet safety and quality needs by projects.

Lead TDS internal process audits and participate customer product safety audits.

Identify noncompliance in TDS safety processes and implement corrective actions to meet organization and project requirements.

Report status regularly and accurately, reflecting issues, progress and key milestones.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor Degree in Engineering

10 years experience in software product or process development for safety-critical applications.

Three years job related experience in process analysis, implementation, or audit.

Experience in Systems Development Life Cycle and familiar with engineering, QA, and product support activities.

Good understanding of recognized safety and quality standards, ISO 9000, CMMI

Interpersonal skills to work harmoniously with TDS Engineering organization and external customer representatives expected in this position.

PREFERRED:

Degree in EE or CS

Formal trainings or direct work experience in quality/process development, such as CMMI, ISO9001, or CENELEC

Familiar with software and systems engineering tools, such as requirement management tools, configuration tools

Working experience in safety-critical system development in the transportation industry.
