Roles and Responsibilities:

Write SQL+Java/Python programs that manage huge data.

Develop backend ETL processes that move data between data sources

Perform data analysis and transformations

Do performance tuning and optimize storage of huge quantities of data

Work with world-class database appliances that push the limits of data storage and access

Required Skills:

Excellent analytical skills

Passion for data management and access

SQL

UNIX

Java or Python

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field

Desired Skills:

Strong OO concepts
Data Warehousing experience
Data transformations (ETL)
Large databases (millions or records and petabyte of data)
Oracle development experience
Greenplum experience
Financial Industry experience
