Position Description:

Primary responsibilities include creating copy that describes the fashion merchandise displayed on the Kellwood Brand’s websites in an appropriate brand voice and informative to the customer.

Responsibilities:

• Attend merchandise photo shoots to observe the merchandise look, fit, and  special features
• Work with brand merchant to understand the brand voice and target customer
• Write effective copy to convey the merchandise features on company websites in the appropriate brand voice
• Write additional informational copy about merchandise to support customer service interaction with customers
• Write copy for internet email campaigns and other lifestyle web pages

Qualifications:

• Ability to write descriptive copy with a sense of fashion
• Extremely organized and detail oriented
• Very thorough and results oriented
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work cross functionally
• Willingness and ability to learn new technical applications
• Ability to identify and resolve issues

Experience Required:

• Previous fashion, eCommerce copywriting experience
• Knowledge of office related systems
• Understanding of the web as a shopping and information medium
