Long-term Project – Plano, Texas

 

The Enterprise HR Architect will be a visionary for HR and Payroll solution architecture for domestic and global markets. This position is responsible for the overall architecture of the HR application portfolio as it relates to process, platform,  client access and information integration. The architect must tightly partner with the CIO organization and the HR business to set direction and solve complex technical problems. Seeking self-motivated candidate to bring innovative ideas and creative problem-solving skills.

Job Responsibilities:

 Develop and utilize architecture standards, strategy, decision trees, best practices and design patterns in enterprise HR initiatives.
Lead Proof of Concepts to prove an architecture design approach.
Ensure architecture governance compliance and drive technology decisions.
Articulate and deliver architecture recommendations and options with pros/ cons.
Develop transition strategy and roadmap to migrate from the 'As-Is' to 'To-Be' architecture state.
Ensure compliance with Security standards and end to end data privacy across the solution.
Monitor the SAP HCM , SAP BI roadmap, and industry trends to enhance HR/Payroll capabilities.
Guide development teams to identify business processes and patterns to increase reusability.
Enable adoption of architecture standards for global applications in local market solutions.
Recommend SAP HCM global application solution architecture, providing options, costs and pro/cons.
Develop the HR reporting and analytics architecture.
Direct Performance Testing to ensure application readiness.
Lead solution discussions with application teams (Security, Encryption, Data flows, Network lags, Bandwidth, Data Backup, Disaster Recovery and Non functional requirements).
Build a strong working relationship with customer teams.

 

 Candidates must be U.S. Citizen or GC holders only.

Qualifications/Skills Requirement:
10 years of IT experience in developing and deploying enterprise applications.
3-5 years experience serving as an architect for a Division or a Corporate Function.
SAP HCM and HR application experience is required.
Candidate ideally has been a part of a full cycle SAP HCM development and global implementations.
Experience in a leadership role directing the deployment of Web based applications. Web-based point solution architecture, development, deployment experience (SSO, Siteminder, Apache, Networks etc).
1-3 years of work experience knowledge with SAP NetWeaver Portal, ABAP, JAVA, Adobe Forms, Web Services, SOAP , XML, Web Dynpro, Integration tools ( SAP XI/PI, Informatica, TIBCO EMS /BW) and Infrastructure (Unix, Intel , Storage, Capacity Planning).
Led solution discussions with application teams (Security, Encryption, Data flows, Network lags, Bandwidth, Data Backup, HA/Disaster Recovery and Non functional requirements).
Requires strong organizational and time-management skills; manage multiple initiatives.
Requires strong negotiation, leadership, interpersonal and communication skills; the ability to effectively manage stress and engage in continuous learning.
Prefer experience on HR, Payroll and Timekeeping applications.
Prefer BI, Data Warehouse and Reporting experience (BW, BO, Cognos, Microstrategy).
Nice to have Hewitt experience.
Travel required (20%) to New York.
Based in Plano, Texas.
