Relevant Experience (Yrs): 8+ years 

Technical/Functional Skills: Cognos 7, Cognos 8.x, Oracle, PL/SQL, 

Experience Required:

- Strong experience in working with Cognos 8.x and Cognos 7 product suites, Report Studio, Analysis Studio, Impromptu, ReportNet, Powerplay, Framework Manager. 

- Strong experience in configuration, installation and maintenance of Cognos Servers 

- Experience in backup, recovery and performance tuning of Cognos servers 

- Strong experience in cube design using Transformation server 

- Good experience in System Analysis, Design, Solutioning and all the SDLC processes 

- Excellent experience in working with databases and queries

– Strong knowledge in Oracle or PL/SQL preferred 

- Strong knowledge of using Oracle Stored procedures, performance tuning of database queries 

- Good experience in gathering requirements and guiding the developers in implementing BI solutions Certification in Cognos and/or Oracle is preferred.
