A leading global law firm with offices across Australia is currently seeking an Energy Associate lawyer to be based in their Perth office. This is due to the firm expanding and increased client portfolio in this sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a top law firm at Senior Associate level with the prospects of advancement.

The ideal candidate will have international experience with a prestigious law firm. The client has an excellent reputation and is seeking a candidate that is also excellent in their field.

The role will require providing specialist legal advice to include:

• Oil and gas contracts
• Renewable energy contracts
• Electricity power contracts
• M&A transactions

The candidate is expected to have excellent experience in the energy sector. The candidate must have expertise and technical knowledge in energy field i.e. oil and gas with general knowledge of the energy extraction industry.
Ideal candidates will also have excellent English language and presentation skills, with an understanding of business working in a western environment.

The successful candidate will need to show genuine interest, enthusiasm and dedication to work in the energy field as well as direct and lead the junior lawyers and show technical and produce a high technical skill set.
