Electrical Engineers

Our client is seeking Intermediate, Senior and Lead Electrical Engineers..

 The Lead Electrical Engineer is responsible for developing, approving and coordinating work schedules to ensure cost, quality and time objectives are met; developing and recommending improvements in design standards; investigating, advising and resolving complex design and field engineering problems; providing technical guidance to advise and instruct the project team.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 12 years of experience with 7 years’ experience as a Design Engineer in Oil & Gas related projects and 5 years’ experience as a Lead Electrical Engineer in an EPC environment. Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Professional Engineering Designation is required. Strong supervisory and project management skills are required. Solid verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational abilities and the ability to handle multiple tasks are integral to this role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.

The Senior Electrical Engineer/Area Lead is responsible for equipment specification and sizing, data sheets, material requisitions, power system design, relay coordination, vendor data review and key documents such as load list, single line diagrams, VFD /motor control schematics and area classification drawings. The position will also involve evaluating vendor bids for all electrical equipment and commodities. In addition, as an Area Lead, will assist Lead Electrical Engineer in developing, approving and coordinating work schedules to ensure cost, quality and time objectives are met.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar role within an EPC environment combined with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Professional Engineering Designation. Solid verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities are necessary to be successful in this role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is also required.

The Intermediate Electrical Engineer assists the Senior Engineer and is accountable for interpreting engineering specifications and preparing detailed deliverables like load list, single line diagrams, VFD/motor control schematics, area classification drawings, cable schedules and layouts..

The Intermediate Electrical Engineer brings 5-10 years experience in a similar role within an EPC environment combined with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Professional Engineering Designation. Solid verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities are necessary to be successful in this role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
