President

Global men’s and women’s apparel business

Senior level executive responsible for the brand management/stewardship and leadership.

P&L accountability across channels with senior level direct reports domestically and internationally including; direct retail (Brick & Mortar/Ecomm), wholesale and merchandising/design.  In conjunction with the PEI licensing arm accountable for global strategic growth comprised of various market/channel appropriate business models. 

 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

•             Strategic global growth plan.

•             Brand management – product integrity, pricing, positioning, profitability and sales.

•             Budgets and P&L; set and achieve yearly budgets as well as monthly, quarterly and yearly forecasts. 

•             Licensing/Distributor collaborative management with PEI licensing organization.

•             Customer development. 

•             Collaboration with shared services-operations, purchasing, finance, sourcing, logistics, IT, HR, licensing and retail planning. 

•             Regular business updates for senior management.

•             Manage teams in multiple locations.

 

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES

 

•             Significant knowledge and experience in the global men’s and women’s apparel business.

•             Vertical retail experience.

•             Product and sourcing exposure.

•             Licensing and distributorship wholesale and retail knowledge.

•             Proven track record growing and building brands.

•             Multi-channel distribution experience.

•             Proven record of product, sales and team management.

•             Ability to assess the marketplace to discover new consumer/customer opportunities.

•            
Results driven with strong sales and profit analytical skills. 

•             Product knowledge and taste level; merchant skills required.

•             Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

•             Good office telecommuting computer skills including video conference, email, excel, word and

 

 

•          10+ years’ leadership management experience in the global men’s and women’s apparel industry.

•             Experience managing a complex organization that included multiple functions.

•             Proven brand builder.

•             Bachelor’s degree (business related), MBA a plus but not required.

•             Vertical retail experience.

•             Experience managing P&L.

•             Strategic and visionary.

•             Organized with strong writing and verbal communication skills, including pre-meeting, posting meeting habits.

•             Strong Microsoft Office Computer skills.

•             Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
