Mobile Project Manager (closed)
The Project Manager works collaboratively with the Account and Solutions teams within our client's mobile practice, to clearly understand the requirements and is responsible for developing deliverables and implementing them into an organized project plan. He/she will develop the detailed work packages, schedules, budgets, identifies the necessary resources and provides regular updates and communications to internal and external stakeholder.
Bachelor Degree qualified, preferably in business, marketing, computer science, information systems or equivalent work experience.
7+ years experience in managing mid-large scale, high visibility projects. Experience managing several significant projects simultaneously. Experience working with team spread in different geo-location preferred. Mobile technology and agency experience is a plus.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Familiarity with Basecamp and/or similar collaborations tools
Software delivery is the job focus. Experience in Waterfall, Iterative, and Agile delivery is required for this position
Advanced knowledge of project metrics, including gathering, reporting, trend analysis, creation, and metrics
Ability to identify issues and problems, generate solutions, and choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysis
Advanced user proficiency with computer software, such as MS Office, MS Project and/or Visio
Advanced understanding of IT principals, including lifecycle planning, estimating and architecture
High level of general management skills including, but not limited to, leading, negotiating, communicating and team building.
