PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT/OB-GYN

We currently a have full time Physician Assistant opportunity available in our highly respected family centered Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) Department. As an active part of our renowned Labor & Delivery Unit you will provide diagnostic and assessment service to a wide range of diverse patients ensuring that the obstetrical and surgical management of our patients meets exceptional standards of care.

Key responsibilities include:

? Providing direct care to individuals and families
? Contributing to quality improvement initiatives
? Maintaining required reports for administrative purpose/reimbursement
? Participating in the obstetrical and surgical management of patients

? Aiding in advanced procedures
? Providing preventive health services including counseling and teaching

? Fostering professional growth and maintenance of certification

? Performing other related duties as necessary

Opportunities exist on all shifts. In-house On-Call may be required.

To qualify, you must be registered as a P.A. in the State of New York. A Bachelor?s Degree, NCCPA Certification, along with personal DEA, BLS/ACLS, is required along with a minimum of two years relevant OB experience as a PA. The ability to multi-task, along with excellent oral/written communication skills is essential. Bilingual skills and flexibility in scheduling are definite pluses.
