Job Description

We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager to join our accomplished, growing client.  Individual must have extensive and successful sales background in group ancillary insurance products or group Health care carriers running a channel play through brokers.  There are 2 geographic areas open (1 Sales Manager for each area): North East (NY, NYC, LI, NJ, CT, MA, VT) and Mid Atlantic (PA, DE, MD, DC, VA, OH).

Job  Description:             

Managing 8-10 Account Executives in a specific geography represent company to both brokerage firms and insurance carriers through a blend of phone, web, and face-to-face sales approaches.  Support select broker partners during their sales process who are offering/reselling company’s flagship cloud based (SAAS) solution.  

 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Become an expert with company’s product offerings
  • Become an expert in a defined contribution funding approach
  • Educating the market on company’s SAAS solution through webinars, cold calls, seminars, and other approaches
  • Working with Account Executives helping them to maintain/manage an active pipeline of brokerage firms and target end user companies
  • Building relationships with firm partners, owners, producers, CEOs,  CFOs, and human resource managers
  • Maintain and update the companies CRM system  (Salesforce.com)
  • Achieving aggressive sales targets for new and renewal business

 

Qualifications:                 

  • Minimum of five plus years Insurance industry experience (broker, group rep, other)
  • Minimum of five plus years managing Account Executives with new Sales targets
  •  A history of using and presenting technology- based solutions
  • A self-starter with strong presentation and follow-up skills
  • An ability to develop strong long term relationships with partners
  • Ability to flourish in a fluid, evolving growth company
  • Life, Accident, and Health insurance license preferred
  • Salesforce.com experience
  • Authorized to work in the US
