Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED-10+ years Clinical Laboratory experience with Phlebotomy knowledge and skills with experience in venous as well as fingerstick blood collection. General knowledge of Laboratory workflow and basic computer knowledge. REQUIRED EDUCATION- BS Biology PREFERRED EDUCATION-BS Medical Technology

Responsibilities:

The Medical Technologist will have responsibility for performing Phlebotomy (venipuncture and or finger stick blood collection) , centrifuging specimens, pipetting and aliquoting subject samples, tube labeling, entering sample ID’s into the data base of the clinical analyzer in preparation of running study subject samples on a variety of clinical analyzers, data entry for results that are generated for clinical evaluations and other miscellaneous tasks that come about based on the need of the laboratory. The CLS should be focused, detail oriented and able to multi task.

Note:Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday as the working days during the week that this postion is required and that this is not set in stone and this may change based on the work flow and project needs. In rare occurrences there may be requests to work more than 3 days in a week.
