RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop Object Oriented code and/or provide maintenance and enhancements to existing code using Java
• Work with business users to gather requirements, write functional and technical specifications.
• Develop conceptual and technical design including use of Object-Oriented techniques.
• Conduct unit testing and continuous integration

  REQUIREMENTS:   U.S. Citizen – Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Government Clearance.  

• Minimum of one (1) year of Java development experience
• Demonstrated experience with technical design and development using technologies that are part of JDK 1.3 or above
• Demonstrated s ability to use logging frameworks such as Apache Commons, Log4J, java.util.logging package etc.
• Experience with the Eclipse IDE, Java Compilers, Build Tools (Ant or Maven) and troubleshoot build issues
• HTML and JavaScript experience
• Ability to understand notations done in modeling languages (like UML) pertaining to use cases and class diagrams and then write code to implement the same.
• Understanding  of the Software Development Lifecycle (e.g. Requirements, Design, Implementation, Testing)
• Software aptitude: ability to learn new technologies quickly
• J2EE Application Server (e.g. JBOSS) experience is highly desired
• Microsoft SQL Server experience is highly desired
