What the project involves is automatically extracting (Management Information Base) MIB information from network devices such as Routers, Switches, Firewalls, etc. utilizing a scripting language called Python.

To complete this project the Client is  looking for a resource that can do Python coding and have strong knowledge of accessing MIB information from network devices of all vendors and their related models. Once the information is extracted the script parses the data and stores the information in a file. The file is then sent to the production system for updating production.

This position is a Dallas based position that will be about an 18 month project in 3 month contract increments. In addition to this the resource would be working with a resource from the IT team who would take over all future updates of the scripts.
