Job Description
Ideal Candidate will have .Net, SharePoint and Java - outstanding leadership abilities - excellent Communication Skills (oral and written)!

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyze business processes, understand business problems, then design, develop and maintain efficient solutions to complex business needs according to customer requirements for applications within the Marketing application area. Lead all sizes of projects and manage all development tasks, possibly spanning multiple technology platforms and integrating across multiple functional areas (i.e., Marketing, Customer Support, Operations, Finance, etc.). Provide work direction and develop program specifications for a team of developers both on and offshore. Evaluate the quality of the code produced to ensure specifications are met. Estimate effort and time required to complete various tasks and manage to the resulting schedule. Assess project risks, identify and resolve project issues, and effectively manage and communicate them to project lead, manager, and/or business partner in a timely manner.
Coordinate with other technical teams - both on and off site to develop appropriate interfaces and ensure quality and efficiency through capacity planning, performance assessment, and unit, integration and regression testing. Coordinate customer acceptance testing and ensure customer satisfaction through timely resolution of issues, regular status reports, and ongoing communication. Services development guidelines and standards, infrastructure and inter-relationships.
Develop and maintain business process models, object models, and data models. Embrace the Leadership Model and actively demonstrate commitment to Leadership. Actively support the team on common goals, and participate in high team performance. Provide customer support 24x7 on a rotating basis. This support is required on evenings, weekends, and holidays in addition to normal Monday through Friday work hours. Perform other special duties as assigned.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: MUST MEET ALL BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
. Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from an accredited University, preferably in Computer Science or Business Computer Systems.
. Minimum of 3 plus years of progressive application development and support experience using .net, C#, Advanced HTML, and Javascript required. Project management skills required. Additional skills desired include Java, CSS, Photoshop, JQuery, Dreamweaver, TeamSite or similar CMS, and SharePoint administration/development. Must have experience through all phases of the software development lifecycle, from gathering requirements to ongoing maintenance and support.
. Experience leading at least one large new development project through all phases of the software development lifecycle, including planning and allocation of resources, coordination among several work groups, formal status reporting and issue tracking, and all documentation associated with a formal methodology.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
. Knowledge of and/or experience with application portfolio and technology architecture.
. Knowledge of and/or experience with Technology Services' project management methodology.
. Knowledge of and/or experience with railroad operations and support.
. Strong leadership, teamwork, and communications skills.
. Experience with DB2/SQL, writing SQL, SQL query tuning, DB2 Stored Procedure development and management.
. Hand-on expertise with DB2 on zOS and Mid-Tier databases, with a detailed understand of DB2 database structures, relationships and management.
. Experience with Application development using DB2 CLI and ODBC interfaces, a knowledge on application integration with IBM DB2
