You are a software engineer with extensive experiences in computer systems, software and architecture. Some areas of development may include Linux kernel, device drivers, daemons, libraries, distributed systems, or embedded firmware. You want to lead a small, agile and highly focused team to develop core database features of MongoDB.

Your Duties:

      • Design, Implement & Test core Database features
      • Organize, mentor and schedule team members
      • You think writing unit tests is critical for great software
      • You're flexible, joining a small team, so you're willing to take on a wide variety of responsibilities
      • You are well organized, used to keeping many balls in the air at the same time

Requirements:
      • 7+ years of Systems C++ Experience
      • Extensive experience with multi-threaded applications and concurrency
      • Experience in network programming and basic knowledge of TCP/IP protocols
      • Some experience of scripting (Python, JavaScript) and MongoDB a plus
      • Excellent testing and debugging skills
      • BSc in Computer Science, MSc in Computer Science a plus
