Responsibilities

1. Prepare stacking/storage plans and loading plans
2. Supervise and involve the receipt of arriving stock, monitor the quantity and quality of stock
3. Overseeing inventory and location control
4. Cary out regular physical warehouse checks of inventory
5. Produce regular stock reports, positions, and statistics on daily, weekly and monthly basis.
6. Motivating, organizing and encouraging teamwork to ensure set productivity targets are met;
7. Planning future capacity requirements with material planning team
8. Maintaining standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment;
9. Overseeing the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment.
10. Maintain high inventory integrity and accuracy level of more than 99.8%
11. Manage and plan incoming/outgoing shipment through communication with freight forwarders
12. Manage freight forwarders to optimize logistics operation
13. Implement continuous improvement and cost reduction programs leading to higher productivity, EHS friendly working environment and cost savings.
14. Identify training and development needs for the team and execute the same to boost the productivity, job knowledge and commitment.
15. Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

1. Diploma or degree level. Transport, Supply Chain or related field is preferable.
2. Good communication & interpersonal skill as well as strong leadership required.
3. A self-motivated energetic team player with good problem solving skills
4. Strong customer service oriented
5. Minimum five years of professional work experience in logistics management and warehouse management
6. Proficient in BAAN or SAP an added advantage.
7. Excellent analytical skill
8. Forklift license preferred
