Must Have Skills:

 

Primary Skills for this position include Core Java, Spring, Hibernate

 1) Apart from Core Java skills, the person should be highly skilled in Hibernate – especially managing complex transactions in Hibernate

2) Extensive experience in Spring framework

3) Experience of converting information provided by business analysts into technical system documents based on which offshore team members develop the codes (during interview the candidate should talk about this experience across some of the projects mentioned in the resume)

4) Experience in doing code reviews (Review codes written by offshore team and present to onsite client team); process driven & structured approach for code reviews before the codes are submitted to client; experience of using any tools for code reviews

5) Ability to architect a solution based on business needs stated by Business Analysts along with ability to understand the business goals of the application being worked on. Based on past interviews, HBO is of the opinion that our resources are technically strong but even after working for years together on a project for a particular client, they are not able to communicate the business goals of the application they worked on. They need a person who can understand business goals of the application very well and then accordingly drive the team to develop this application and fine tune it to changing business needs

6) This Onsite tech lead person will be required to interact with several business users including mid-senior management sometimes to communicate how the application will address the business goals. During such interactions, the resource should also be able to capture any inputs/suggestions/comments/feedback that may eventually be incorporated into the application. It is more of a technical architect role that they are looking at. (The person should be technically highly skilled with ability to understand & communicate business goals effectively)

7) Need to know & understand the business goals and bigger picture of the things being worked upon

 

Core Java, Spring, Hibernate. Should have worked on AOP, IOC, MVC, DAO, ORM, WebFlow, JMS and core modules of Spring framework
