One of our financial services clients is looking for a Release Manager with 2-4 years of Project Management and Release Management experience (6+ years of overall IT industry experience) to join their team for a 6 month contract. This individual will possess a high degree of technical experience and come from a network engineering or network implementation background. This individual will have a small piece of approximately 14 projects concurrently.

Role and responsibilities:

• Release management, project lead/management
• Documentation, assessment from a network standpoint
• Network team assembly – Engineering and Deployment
• Works through the entire project lifecycle and initiates work as required while maintaining a strong understanding of the impact of any and all changes to the network
• Risk management
• Capacity management
• Managing approximately 14 projects concurrently

Required Skills:

• 2-4 years of Project Management/Release Management experience
• 6+ years of IT industry experience
• Experience managing many (10+) concurrent projects
• Network engineering/implementation background
• Cisco certification(s)
• Understanding of the basic commands for network switches
