This is a full-time contract position located Ashburn, VA

Lab Testing: WiFi Device & Router (BHR) Tester

Networking Requirements (mandatory)
• Experience with Home Networking Products (DSL/Cable Modems, Routers, Set Top Box, 802.11 a/b/g/n wireless)
• Wireless Network Security Experience
• Wireless Site Survey Experience
• Experience with IP protocols
• (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, FTP, HTTP, UDP, LAN and WAN, Throughput and Latency, Routers, Switches, etc., Network+ certification preferred)
• WiFi Experience (setting up wireless networks, trouble shooting, wireless security, CWNA certification preferred)

Basic Requirements / Job Skills (mandatory)
• Strong verbal and written communications skills – Must be able to understand instructions and to communicate issues to their test leads
• Experience with Testing or QA to include: requirements analysis, creating test plans and test cases
• Organized with a strong attention to detail
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong Microsoft Office skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• BS degree in a technical field (BS-EE or BS-CS preferred)
• 5 years of related job experience

Other experience (desired/helpful)
• VeriWave, IxChariot experience
• Android, Windows and MAC based PC and Mobile Hardware Experience (A+ certification preferred)
• MoCA Experience
• Experience with Video Game Consoles & Video Streaming Devices (i.e. Xbox, Sony PlayStation, Apple TV, Google TV, Roku, and Set Top Boxes)
• System Administration (backups networking, security)
• Configuration and testing for Windows and Unix/Linux servers
• Electronics experience (Communication Signals and Circuits, Digital Transmission Techniques)
• Performance analysis (load / stress testing)
• A+, Network + and CWNA preferred
• Video experience (Digital Video Systems, Video Compression Technology, MPEG, AVC/H.264)
• Knowledge of Video outputs & signaling
• DLNA
• Basic understanding of Electricity
• Test Systems (HP Quality Center preferred)
• Test Automation (Scripting, VSS)
