Our hospital has an immediate opening for an experienced, compassionate Nurse Practitioner who is ready to take their career to the next level. You must have previous experience as a NP in HEM/BMT. We are seeking a professional Nurse Practitioner to provide independent nursing and collaborative medical management to a highly complex patient population in the department of Hematology and Bone Marrow Transplantation, joining a clinical team of 29 transplant physicians, 17 mid-level providers, 20 Nurse Coordinators, Social Workers and Case Managers. The roles and responsibility of the Nurse Practitioner include, but are not limited to the following: Delivery of clinical care for both, the inpatient and outpatient setting, providing primary, secondary and in some cases tertiary care within the scope of practice. Services may include: performing history and physical examinations, ordering, performing and interpreting diagnostic and laboratory test and therapies, as well as furnishing drugs and other devices for specific conditions. Do you have a current California NP License? Do you have a current California RN License? Do you have a minimum of 2 years of NP experience in HCT/HEM? Do you have a current BLS through AHA?
