Bilingual Senior Manager, Living benefits Corporate Underwriting (closed)
Procom KW is searching for a Bilingual Senior Manager of Corporate Living Benefits Underwriting, for a large insurance client located within the GTA. This position will support the strategies of Corporate Underwriting by leading the delivery of innovative solutions for the analysis, creation and maintenance of Living Benefit underwriting rules, policies and procedures and underwriting portfolio reviews across the Canadian Life line of business for all channels.
Mandatory Skills: Minimum 10 years of experience in Living Benefit Underwriting. Bilingual (French and English) communication skills. Expert knowledge of Living Benefit products, risk selection principles, insurance regulations and underwriting processes. Demonstrated, applied experience establishing and delivering complex projects. Strong influencing skills. Previous experience defining underwriting and risk classification criteria along with product and coverage design to achieve corporate profitability and production goals according to the business strategic priorities.
Nice to Have Skills: Previous experience participating as an SME/Sponsor rep in select projects, supporting the development from the idea stage through to execution. Previous experience representing the underwriting department and company on committees both internally and externally.
