Our client is a leading, independent Travel Agent and is looking to recruit a full time Travel Consultant in their Bournemouth office.

The main responsibility is to recommend and sell a range of holiday products and services direct to customers over the phone and via email from our client's reservations call centre.

This is an exciting opportunity for travel sales professionals to join an expanding independent agent with an emphasis on service and repeat business.

Candidate Requirements

Proven travel sales experience
ABTA qualification advantageous
Good numeracy skills
IT literate
Ability to identify and act on upselling opportunities
A positive attitude and commitment to ensuring the customer always comes first
Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise effectively at all levels
Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
Well organised with strong time management skills
Able to perform under pressure
Passion for travel and providing a quality service
The desire and initiative to achieve and exceed targets
Approachable manner with both colleagues and clients
Able to work some evenings and weekends on a rota system

Remuneration & Hours of Work

Competitive salary plus commission

The call centre is open from 9.00am – 8.00pm Monday – Saturday and 9.00am – 6.00pm on Sundays and Bank Holidays so applicants must be willing to work evenings and weekends on a rota basis
