Niche - VoIP Engineer 
We are looking for two VOIP Engineers to provide the skills / knowledge listed below to build and support an enterprise Cisco IP Telephony solution.
This VOIP Engineering team will be primarily project focused, developing designs and building solutions to meet new or enhanced IP telephony requirements, develop Currency plans, Enterprise Dial Plan, and provide technical leadership within the Unified Communications environment.
Successful Candidates will provide on call emergency support after hours and on weekends on a rotational basis. They will also support occasional deployments on nights and weekends.
Candidates should have: 1. experience in a large shop including Financial Services organization with rigorous change control and documentation standards 2. at least one or more of the skills / knowledge areas listed below 3. at least one year of experience supporting or building Cisco IP Telephony in a distributed environment with at least 3,000 phones 4. a Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or Equivalent experience 5. good MAN/WAN/LAN network design, management and support experience 6. knowledge of legacy voice services functions and features 7. strong documentation skills to create and maintain technical documentation 8. excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written 9. strong organizational and analytical skills 10. ability to work in a collaborative team-oriented environment 11. ability to take a pro-active approach to learning, problem solving, taking ownership of issues, and strong follow-up skills. 12. good working knowledge of process/procedure development and execution 13. the ability to thrive in a fast paced / dynamic environment, manage high pressure situations and deal with challenging issues. 14. high values in teamwork, motivation, client/customer service and professionalism.
