To deliver effective marketing services to the pharmacy division online and offline activities.
Specifically, to help become the market leader in data, training and marketing services, and to have the largest and most engaged community of pharmacists.
Run marketing campaigns using web, email, social marketing, direct mail and SEO to:
Deliver new subscriptions to the client package which includes magazine, Data license, emails and online access to the web site.
Maintain existing subscriptions to the client package.
Deliver training delegates to the series of online and offline training programmes.
Help build Pharmacy traffic to the client web site and job site.
Help increase the number of pharmacists and staff registered on the web site and signing up to the range of news and clinical emails.
Support our awards and any other live events that we may launch.
Support our Senates and raise their profile.
Working with the Audience Development Director you will also be responsible for:
Managing the email marketing schedule and coordinating all email communication for the pharmacy division including marketing, editorial and commercial emails.
Creation and management of company brand and company divisional social media and forum profiles, reputation management and viral marketing.
Work with the design team to create site assets such as banners, site content microsites and graphics and email marketing campaigns.
Working with management information, Webmaster tools, and website statistics packages such as Google Analytics, Omniture and Index Tools to ensure and report on the success of the websites and related online activities.
Build an active profiled online email marketing database.
Coordinate research programmes to ensure the pharmacy web sites and online and offline businesses are meeting the needs of the pharmacy audience.
Other reasonable tasks that may be required from time to time.
Key internal partnerships
To work with the editorial team to increase usage and interactivity with our healthcare users through online product development.
Co-ordinate activity with the in house design teams to create relevant and inspiring online advertising and email campaigns that drive traffic.
Work with the development team to ensure site structure and email marketing techniques provide good search engine access.
Work with the sales teams to ensure the audience development is commercially valuable.
Digital marketing experience
Degree or similar marketing or business qualification
Membership marketing experience (acquisition and renewal)
The ability to pick up new technology tools to benefit and improve the online marketing activity
Experience with implementing successful SEO techniques
Excellent knowledge of ;
Omniture or another web analytical package
Online survey tools
Email delivery systems
Social networking tools
