Position Title:   Firewall Engineer Consultant

Location:             Washington, DC.

Duration:            12 Months (Very Strong Possibility of extension)

Interview Type: In-Person MUST.

The Office of the Chief Technology Officer/ City Wide IT Security Program seeks a Senior Firewall engineer with

experience in both Cisco ASA firewalls, Check Point Firewalls and Juniper Firewalls.  The candidate must pocess

expert working knowledge in two or the three firewall vendors listed above.  The firewall engineer must be able to

work normal business hours with on call support and after hours maintenance windows.  

The candidate will be working within a network security operations environment and must be able to work both alone

on projects and with other team members from various groups as requirements demand.

Cisco ASA, Juniper, Checkpoint, firewall, LAN, WAN, Troubleshooting, VPN, Security Architecture/Engineering/Design, Switching and Routing.
