| Job description Architecture and Strategy for use of Rational and other tools within GBS Define and manage the SIH PM&T tools architecture to drive a consistent solution that is scalable and can implemented in a cost effective manner for GBS engagements Responsibilities Develops Architecture on the integrated use of Rational tools within GBS Defines tools landscape for GBS including the core Rational tools and other key elements such as Websphere and Tivoli to ensure GBS is leveraging the best capabilities of each Defines GBS Strategy and Positioning for Rational and other IBM tool use for each Service Line in conjunction with the Service Line leader Ensure that joint efforts with IBM Research follow the GBS Architecture and Standards Liaison between GBS and Rational for beta program, design partner program, and tool integration. Serve as contact point for GBS to work with the Rational Product Managers Subject Matter Expert on all Rational tools used by GBS Educate enablement, deployment, and project teams worldwide Be recognized and demonstrate skills as a Rational Tools expert through activities such as Industry presentations |
