Job Description
Cirrus Logic seeks an enthusiastic engineer with strong measurement and layout experience, reporting into Foundry Engineering manager in Austin, TX. This individual will be responsible for a wide range of measurement activities in the device lab, to verify electrical behavior against SPICE model for example or to understand characteristics of custom devices; this includes DC, AC, 1/f Noise, and mismatch behaviors.  And have knowledge and experience in test structure layouts for various technology nodes, including advanced CMOS and High Voltage BCD nodes for Analog, Mixed-Signal products.
 
Required Qualifications and Experience:
 
  • B.S. EE with 5+ years of experience
  • Solid experience in deep submicron CMOS and BCD device measurement and characterization with HP Parametric analyzer, LCR meter, etc.
  • Thorough knowledge in using Manual, Semi-automatic, and automatic probers
  • Knowledge of active and passive devices in CMOS technologies.
  • Good understanding of Device 1/f (Flicker) Noise and matching behaviors.
  • Ability to stress test devices to understand after stress behavior and SOA
  • Experience in test structure layout of individual Devices and Array
  • Knowledge in running SPICE simulations and comparing them with data is a plus
