This is our direct-client opening for a .Net Developer located in Tampa, FL. This is a 3-6 month contract, and the rate depends on experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The senior .Net C# Web Developer will function as a C# Developer working on a .NET platform using Agile processes to develop and implement software solutions.

Work with other .Net C# Developers, Project Managers, Architects, Business Analysts, and other departments to develop both new and expand functionality to existing applications.

Formulate and define system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately to highly complex information systems.

Mentor other C# .NET developers to assist the team with tasks like, but not limited to best practices, troubleshooting, task decomposition, estimation, testing, and documentation.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

5+ years of experience in the following skill sets…

C# / ASP.NET 2.0 - 3.5 Web Application Development

Professional Experience in IT performing analysis, coding and testing of various applications.

Experience generating and processing XML data files

Strong SQL Server 2005 / 2008 - T-SQL / Joins / Stored Procedures, etc.

Must be self-motivated and able to work both independently and in conjunction with team members and product groups. Enthusiasm and flexibility to work on a variety of projects are necessary, as well as the ability to rapidly acquire new domain familiarity.

Ability to work in a fast paced environment, recognize and react to changing business needs and effectively prioritize tasks

Ability to meet deadlines, identify issues and resolve with minimal direction

Team Foundation Server (TFS)

Full comprehension of n-Tier architectures

Results oriented and committed to meet the goal.

Experienced in working in tight schedules meeting deadlines.

SDLC experience

PREFERRED (but not required)

.NET 4.0 Development Experience

WCF – Windows Communication Foundation

Expertise in Front-End Web Development

HTML / DHTML / CSS / AJAX / XML / JavaScript / JQuery

Bachelors  Degree / BS Computer Science preferred

Proficient with Visual Studio testing tools
