Brine Group is pleased to inform you of an opportunity for a Nurse Manager of Maternity Services in the greater Boston area. Our client is a system of facilities, including acute care hospitals, clinics, and specialty care centers. The hospital system is a teaching affiliate of one of the world renowned medical schools.

The Nurse Manager of Maternity Services will report to the DON and oversee 70 FTE's in the hospital's Maternity Department, Birth Center, and Newborn Care.

The expanded LDR suites are state-of-the-art in order to provide the highest quality care while at the same time offering a comfortable environment for mother, baby, and family. The birth center offers a home-like experience for expecting mothers and their families who are looking for an alternative to hospital birth. The hospital has a level 1B nursery.

In order to qualify for this position, a BSN is required and an MSN is preferred. 5+ years of experience in a Labor & Delivery and Post Partum setting, with a demonstrated progressive leadership track. Critical thinking and superior communications skills are essential.
