A New York-based leading provider of full-service online marketing solutions seeks a fulltime Java Software Engineer.

Required experience:

• 5+ years experience developing web-based applications.
• Strong experience and competence in designing Java Objects and programming such. Solid experience designing and programming a web-based system. UML and ER diagrams should be a part of this experience.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux, Web Services, XML/XSL, SOAP, MVC model, Test Driven Development, Eclipse IDE, Ant.
• Solid working experience in Enterprise Java, Struts, JUnit, Hibernate, Spring.
• Experience, knowledge and discipline in standard project lifecycle practices (including source code version control and maintenance, etc).

Desirable experience:

• Perl programming experience
• Experience with PL/SQL
• Project management experience
• Experience with open source projects
