Java/J2EE Developer

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

? Analysis, Design, Specification, Development and Testing of code to defined deadlines and exacting standards.
? Produce Design and Technical Specifications as needed for technical documentation.
? Provide support and assistance to other departments as required.
? Work closely with business partners to produce quality products that meet business needs.
? Use collaborative skills to work with database administrators, system managers and business partners in order to ensure reliability, availability, and performance of applications.
? Use analytical skills to troubleshoot and maintain applications as needed.
? Use communication skills in order to work with end users in analyzing their requirements.
? Use analytical skills to learn our business processes, document the data and process models and troubleshoot and maintain existing applications.

We are looking for an individual with strong expertise in the following required core competencies:
? End-to-End Design of Object-Oriented J2EE applications
? HTML, XML, JSP, EJB, JavaScript, Java
? IBM WebSphere Application Server and Development tools (i.e. WSAD)
? Oracle 9i, SQL and PL/SQL stored procedures
? UNIX (Solaris 8) and Windows NT (2000 & XP)
? Professional GUI Design

Position requires a degree in Computer Technology, Informatics, Computer Sciences, Engineering or Business.

Candidate must have 3 or more years of Java/J2EE experience.
