Job Description

Summary: 

This is a pivotal position, responsible for driving continual improvements in the integration of Salesforce.com to our workflow processes. The Sales/Client Development Coordinator will work with the Commercial/Client Development Department as well as other internal groups to improve usage, develop reports, dashboards and continuously monitor data quality and integrity. This individual will partner with internal customers (sales, marketing, customer service, technical support, leadership) to use SalesForce.com to achieve our company goals and improve the experience we provide to our internal and external customers.  Must have had experience administering salesforce.com.  We are seeking a pro-active, extremely detailed and process oriented person who can manage the ongoing support requests and administrative needs of our users. This position also provides varied project support to Client Development and Marketing; including campaign coordination and commercial reporting.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Administer the Salesforce.com application, including system configuration, data setup and ongoing maintenance
  • Manages ongoing relationship with Salesforce.com.
  • Perform database de-duping and cleanup procedures
  • Manage ongoing support requests and administrative needs of users
  • Create and maintain workflow relating to business needs
  • Manage users, data, and security
  • Maintain and customize sales and service applications
  • Develop reports, dashboards and processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity
  • Monitor user adoption rates and respond as needed to improve usage
  • Assist users with report design and management
  • Develop and implement new applications and updates to existing applications as needed
  • Identify, document, and communicate standard business processes as they relate to Salesforce.com
  • Work with management to identify new and creative opportunities to leverage the database to support additional business processes or functions
  • Adhere to a strict schedule of deliverables (both internally and externally) making sure all documentation is complete and thorough
  • Assist with market research segmentation, as appropriate
  • Assist with tracking of partner relationships and referrals
  • Assist with marketing campaign management through Salesforce.com campaigns (post speaking engagement follow-up, email blasts, exhibiting coordination)
  • Maintain upcoming events on website
  • Regularly participate in meetings and dependable as an internal/external resource on assigned projects
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

  • Experience administering Salesforce.com is required
  • Experience with data management
  • Able to adapt to fast-paced, constantly changing environment
  • Ability to apply sound judgment and decision making skills in dealing with a variety of routine and non-routine issues
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and detail orientation with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong internal and external client service skills
  • Prior Sales/Business Development/Marketing interface
  • Knowledge in handling of proposals
  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
  • Able to orchestrate large volumes of data while meeting critical deadlines
  • Must be able to work independently and as an effective team member
  • Experience in project planning is helpful
  • Must be proficient in MS Office applications
