Performance Tester/Analyst; Location: Washington, DC Metropolitan Area;
Project Description: • Responsible for performance testing and troubleshooting across all the component of the application • Responsible for performance and scalability issues in an Oracle, WebSphere/WebMethod, and ETL (Informatica) environment
Responsibilities: • Support performance test execution in development, test, and production environments for each build, sprint, and release in the iterative development lifecycle • Support the design and development of a test strategy to perform environment and system integration validation; including ETL, using Informatica, Java Data Access, and web services technology • Support development and maintenance of unit test cases, test cases and/or user stories, and test reports • Support the development and maintenance of Defect Reports for development, test, and production environments for each build, sprint, and release in the iterative development lifecycle • Attend the daily and weekly SCRUM meetings to track product
Requirements: • Applicants selected will be subject to a government background investigation • 7+ years of demonstrated experience in Performance Testing using Rational tools - required • 7+ years of demonstrated experience in setting up the performance testing strategy for a data warehouse application - required • 7+ years experience conducting performance testing builds for enterprise application built on top Java, Oracle, and Informatica ETL technologies - required • 5+ years experience demonstrating an in-depth understanding of the software development life cycle for implementing Enterprise level systems - required • Experience with Rational Clear Quest, Oracle 11 g, WebSphere, WebMethods, Informatica, and Java - desired
