Job Title: Maternal/Child Nurse Manager

Job Location: Syracuse/Utica, NY

Job Qualifications:

-          Current RN license

-          Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred

-          5+ years’ maternal/child health experience, including L&D

-          Specialty certifications and AWHONN knowledge preferred

Job Summary:

The Nurse Manager will be responsible for the direct supervision of department staff and is expected to assist as necessary.  Looking for someone with dynamic service excellence and management skills to lead the department.  A clinically competent registered professional nurse who delivers patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. Demonstrates appropriate knowledge and competency in regards to Labor & Delivery, Maternal Child, and Nursery. Effectively interacts with the patients, significant others, and health care team members while maintaining the standards of professional nursing.
