Manager - International Compensation (closed)
The Manager of International Compensation is responsible for primary compensation and subject matter expert for all international business segments in 68 countries in five continents (Europe, Middle East, India; Africa; Australia; Asia / Pacific; South and Central America; and the Caribbean). Develops customized country based pay solutions outside the United States. Provides strategic design, implementation and administration of and consultative guidance and oversight for all compensation for international and expatriate/TCN employees worldwide. Ensures that these programs are competitive within the market in each country in accordance with Delta's global total compensation philosophy. Must maintain continuous efforts in determining current compensation trends, regulatory compliance and policy equity for all international ground and flight attendant. Constructs complex data sets for each individual country in accordance with local laws and regulations in both union and non-union environment. Partners with Labor Relations and International HR to provide subject matter expertise to the development, implementation and on-going administration of all international collectively bargained benefit plans where applicable. Provides job analysis, tools, knowledge and expertise to International HR in international compensation matters. Primary educator/communicator of international compensation issues/changes. Proactively researches external/emerging compensation trends and assesses their level of appropriateness for Delta internationally. Responsible for establishing policies and work rules for international staff and for ensuring that corporate policies are appropriately reviewed for applicability and implementation in international locations ("think globally, act locally"). Works in cooperation with other major airlines to ensure competitiveness in each market. Partners with external vendors to ensure timely and accurate service delivery. Manages vendors that administer expatriate and TCN policies and procedures in an outsourced business structure. Supervises and manages performance of other staff members.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
CPA or CCP strongly preferred
Strong analytical skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to think creatively to address complex and diverse issues
Experience coaching and counseling subordinates for personal and career development
Additional language skills are a plus
