Senior Director of Operations, Pediatric Primary Care

Location: Boston Metro-North

Brine Group has been retained by a community teaching healthcare system to identify a Senior Director of Operations for its Pediatric Primary Care ambulatory practices. The healthcare system, affiliated with Harvard Medical School, has been transitioning into a Patient-Centered Medical Home model, and all of the ambulatory practices should be certified within 1 year.

The Senior Director is responsible for the financial and operational success of the physician practices. He/She directs all aspects of site operations including: operating and capital budget preparation and oversight; development of staffing plans; collaborating with VP of Ambulatory Services and Clinical Chief; establishment of annual goals, metrics, and performance management systems; development of site management teams; establishment and monitoring of customer service goals and performance; measurement and improvement of provider, patient, and staff satisfaction; and daily problem-solving.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Healthcare, a Master’s Degree is highly preferred. 7+ years of management in an ambulatory/physician practice setting, including financial and managerial accounting, human resource management, and planning. Pediatric practice experience is a plus.
