Job Description

Prestigious Hospital in Manhattan is looking for a Clinical Trials Agreement Manager.

As an integral member of the Office of Clinical Research (OCR) management team, this position works directly with the Manager, Protocol Development and Regulatory Compliance, OCR Leadership and the Director, Clinical Research Operations, on all aspects of industrial clinical trials agreements.  This position provides managerial oversight and authority over the development, negotiation and execution of all agreements associated with industrial sponsored clinical trials including but not limited to: clinical trial agreements, confidentiality disclosure agreements and, as needed, various research and sub-contract services associated with existing clinical trial agreements.  The Manager, CTA will work with Principal Investigators, Research Management staff, the Office of General Counsel and OCR Leadership to ensure full compliance with federal regulations and Institutional policies relating contractual agreements related to the conduct of clinical trials.  This position will maximize interests in the negotiation process and ensure continuity amongst agreements. Bachelor’s degree is the minimum requirement; a Master’s degree is preferred.  This position requires the ability to apply a broad range of technical and specialized knowledge and significant job-related experience to handle complex work assignments.  This position requires strong communication skills both oral and written and the ability to interact and communicate with a diverse group of individuals.  Administrative skills required include prioritization, project management, operational oversight, and planning/organizing meetings. A minimum of 6-8 years experience in clinical research field, preferably in oncology clinical trials, clinical trials agreements and negotiations, and the financial aspects of clinical trials management.  A minimum of 4-6 years managerial experience is required.
