Required Education and Experience:
 
-Bachelor's degree in Nursing, health care, or relevant field from accredited college or university;
 
-One to two years nursing experience with increasing scope of responsibilities.
2-5 yrs experience in Mgmt
 
Recommended Education and Experience:
- Master's degree in Nursing, health care or relevant field from accredited college or university;
-Three or more years nursing experience with increasing scope of responsibilities.

Required License(s) & Certification(s)
-RN Licensure in the state of Texas (or Compact License).
-BLS required

Recommended License(s) & Certification(s)
-Certification in relevant nursing specialty area

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
 
-Ability to communicate effectively.
-Ability to read, analyze, and interpret reports, appropriate professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. 
-Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. 
-Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees, customers, and the general public.
-Knowledge of Microsoft Office software products, primarily Excel, Word, and Power-point.
