BC/BE FP with or with out OB needed in a Suburban Chicago area- 16 miles southwest of downtown Family Practice with or without OB (low risk) Hospital employed setting (primary care network). Currently there are 9 employed Family Practitioners as part of this employed group Several opportunities among clinic locations as well as some newly identified satellite locations in the suburbs Call 1 in 4 (12 physicians rotate in three pods) - this is telephone call. All Family Physicians except the FP w/OB practice 100% clinic practice utilizing the ER staff and hospitalists for all inpatient work. For candidates wishing to practice OB, there is an option (low risk OB). NOTE: OB call would be set up differently with the existing FP w/OB providing coverage. Hospital also has a laborist program. The hospital is currently doing 1,600 deliveries total per year.
